At least Price is not looking like his normal dominating self - 30+ pitches and a walk so far. Jays would look so much better with those 3 missing regulars right now.

Put it in perspective. Without that error Buehrle would be out of the inning on a good pitch count with no runs given up. Reyes with both an error and a lack of range caused most of this situation.

Buehrle didn't do too badly given the error and then the lack of range by Reyes which allowed more runs in. That also caused an inflated pitch count which puts the Jays in a bad position to start this game. Hope they can start chipping away at that lead right away.

That error looms large now - That sucked big time. We will have to see how the Jays hitters approach Price. What are the odds they don't show any patience at the plate?

Well that was certainly an interesting first half inning. Let's see how the Jays respond now cuz Scherzer is tough.

True. He gave up the lead and the winning run but don't forget the Jays hitters also wasted a few opportunities to tack on additional runs. Tough loss for sure.

Dickey makes me nervous so it's great to see him wiggle out of that mess.

It's about time Rasmus does more of this especially as opponents like playing the shift on him. The Jays have gotten some breaks this game but they look like they are paying attention to fundamentals.

It is annoying especially when they have not been doing well lately. You would hope they would try to see some pitches and run up the pitchers count but what do I know about the right approach.
