In my opinion he really doesn't add anything of value so it's no loss having him on the IL. Just hope people don't keep quoting him cuz it appears in the thread. -

Not sure who made that comment but it most probably came from some Jays' personnel. It is not a defeatist comment but more likely a following of communications protocol. In the back of his mind he most probably was thinking: "I just witnessed a shitshow and now I have to do a s***** interview. Hmmmmmm, how can I phrase the following thoughts without offending the majority: "The current makeup of this team is s*****, lately the team's performance has been s*****, and the results reflect a high level of shittiness yet we are spending a s***-load of money while producing a s***** baseball experience for the fans." When you really reflect on the two quotes you will see they amount to the same sentiment except the prior one is less obvious and much less offensive.

I don't have an answer to your question however it really doesn't matter to me cuz when I have my fill of someone stupidity I simply put them on the IL. Also, the intent behind my post to Trouba95 was to save him from putting himself in a position where he most probably will be banned. If he feels like ignoring the suggestion then so be it - no skin off my back. I do agree there are regulars who act immaturely as well but they too will face a similar fate when the mods feel they are being too obnoxious.

You do realize that your constant negative comments will get you banned eventually yet you keep persisting with it. If you do not want to be here why not just leave like an adult and spare us from your apparent glee at the Jays misfortune? Sooner or late the mods will get ticked off and ban you. Is that what you are hoping for?

This comment reminded me of Dickey's action with Bautista at the interview. He gave Bautista a big kiss on his cheek almost like he was implying "Thanks for saving me from having to come into the game".

That is what made the game even more amazing. How could this team, as it is currently made up, come back from such a huge deficit and against good pitching as well. Great win for the Jays.

The unproductive outs were tough to take but the effort on D did not look nice at all either.

Some roster moves have to be made but I feel they will do well. Being tired is one thing but having a boost to your confidence goes a long way. They will be amped up and hopefully will be able to garb some sleep before the game. They really don't need batting practice.

This in one reason why all the comments about the game being over in the early innings gets to me. This was a hard fought game which culminated in the series win. When you reflect back on the first game it was a winnable one with the other two being 1-run wins against some terrific starters. The Jays have been holding their own even through they are without some key players. I am really proud of these guys - they showed a lot of determination as it got later in the game. Rasmus and Bautista made some terrific defensive plays at crucial times. Long game but satisfying all the same cause of the outcome.

Did you just see his expression as he got up? It was like he was either suffering from indigestion or angina. Hope he still has some life left in him to get the Jays through this inning.

That comparison between Davis' and Reyes' stats felt like a kick in the groin.

Buehrle has pitched adequately. Price for all of his hype/reputation has pitched 1 innings (13 pitches less) less and 2 more walks.

Price is not looking sharp right now so the Jays need to do something before he settles in.
