I'm way late here but how the f*** do the Rams exist? They have like a billion dollars in dead cap in like 3 years. So annoying that a team like them can just hand out a 30 and 20 million AAV contract and somehow lower their cap hit. Just get rid of the f***ing cap. It's obviously a joke at this point.

Oh yeah, the LA Chargers won the internet for all time last night with this masterpiece. The Urban Meyer part made me piss myself. They didn't pull any punches, but some of them have kind of subtle jabs, Atlanta especially.

Surprised it isn't basketball tbh. Though maybe the fact they they play indoors is a factor. When I was a kid, my parents paid about 100 bucks + shin guards + cleats (let's say 150 total) for around 14 games of fully officiated games + playoffs + uniforms. Hard to beat.

You're misusing the word grifter. Bauer may like attention, but who cares? He's not making any money by engaging with fans. Colin Kaepernick converted his fledgling NFL career into a huge contract with Nike to pretty much race grift full time and occasionally pretend that he wants to play football again but that the whole league is blackballing him. He's now moved on to starring in documentaries which compare the NFL draft to slavery. When Bauer reaches anywhere near those heights, you might have a point, but he hasn't, so you don't.
