Dude hasn't passed 2.30 ERA in any year since he left the Rangers, he barely walks anyone and gets a nice amount of strikeouts with tons of holds. He also doesn't really throw hard and in my brain that equates to lesser risk of injury and he's not THAT old. Not sure what else you'd want from a holds guy but O'Day is an elite reliever. If you don't like him, I'll take him.

Idk, I kind of enjoy the game more as an ump blows an obvious call for my favourite team in a critical moment. It's what makes the game feel so pure.

He apparently said it in jest. Idk, I kind of like Schilling even if he is a total moron outside of baseball. He is definitely a hall of famer going by his performance in the game of baseball (and that's the only thing that should matter.)

Holy s***, I just realized Curt Schilling is not in the hall of fame after THREE ballots. How is this possible? He's a much better pitcher than Tom Glavine. How is there not more outrage? He's a slam dunk easy HOF, not even close.

If King started this thread, and I assume he did, pretty sure he has a mandate to be as annoying as possible. -
The problem with the Jays is that the pitching is s*****, the defense is mostly s*****, the bench is s***** and there's no depth. It's not a case of improving the "front end" of the rotation. It's a case of improving anywhere you can. Currently, Sanchez occupies a spot because the FO is extremely stubborn and seems to refuse to recognize his shortcomings.
