    Machado had a moment, but he's a special talent and seems like he's smartened up. I don't feel negatively towards him. But f*** me, if you're still mad that Stroman threw at someone two years ago despite him being a great character, you have something wrong with you. Be consistent.

Because, you know, balls taking bad bounces never happens anywhere else. - yeah but it kind of matters how good the hitters are and it doesn't account for the defense in the lineup. Martin is an average hitter but an excellent defender. Replacing him with a better bat but average or worse defender would be a net loss. Bautista, EE, Donaldson are all conceivably top 10 bats in the AL.
