    I get you have to put Beltre at third, bit you should at least fit Bryant into the OF. Add Max Scherzer and Kyle Hendricks to the rotation. Andrew Miller to RP, Glen Perkins, Trevor Cahill, Brandon McCarthy. You're bad at this.

    I think Smoak is probably an attractive asset because he played regularly last year and the Jays made the playoffs. Just trade him and be done with it.

    I was expecting the reception I received. I'm happy with the process that led me to the decision and I'll live with it whether it turns out for the better or worse.

    Your logic is terrible, though. You seem to be saying that, even though he's been an excellent player when he gets playing time and has hit at a 130 wRC+ clip over his last 900+ PAs, he's not good enough to be a full time player because other teams bench him. Is it not possible that Baltimore is just really dumb? Because that's who was making him ride the pine. He was TB's best player prior to being traded. Can you reason why Pearce should not be playing FT using actual numbers?

    Half a season of Pearce = average production from a full time player. Which means Steve Pearce is bad. Or something.
