    Yeah, they could absolutely add a siding, but the cost would be huge, depending on the type. I dunno if brick would work very well aesthetically, it's pretty damn expensive but it would be durable. A PEIFS stucco type of cladding would probably look good, is cheaper but not very durable. I don't think simply painting it would accomplish much. I dunno, it's not an easy fix.

    Don Mattingly's genius idea to speed up baseball: "Analytically, a few years back nobody cared about the strikeout, so it’s OK to strike out 150, 160, 170 times, and that guy’s still valued in a big way," Mattingly said. "Well, as soon as we start causing that to be a bad value — the strikeouts — guys will put the ball in play more. So once we say strikeouts are bad and it’s going to cost you money the more you strike out, then the strikeouts will go away. Guys will start making adjustments and putting the ball in play more." TL;DR, let players know that strikeouts are not a desirable outcome. How is this guy involved in baseball? I wouldn't trust him with a peewee team.

    Not prototypical power for third. OK, but is he a good hitter? Are you capable of thinking in terms of wRC+? I'm sure glad fangraphs replaced Dan Farnsworth, who was quite great, with an old school scouty type who apparently doesn't have access to YouTube.
