Obviously age related decline is real, and it's hard to bounce back from an MCL tear at any age much less 30. I just wanted to illustrate the point that his decline specifically is more than just age, the guy played the last two years in a condition that most of us would find difficult to work a regular office job in.

Yes the vaccine was last year, and it was bad. Didi literally plays through everything and because of that his numbers have been awful the last two years.

Earlier this year in a collision. If you are looking for a confirmation of that or an official report you won't find it because there is none. Not all injuries get disclosed.

I also know for a fact that the Jays tried to trade for Didi in the winter, but the Phillies wouldn't move him.

I know the guy personally, it's not a decline. He had a severe negative reaction to the covid vaccine and then tore his MCL and played through it. He's still a damn good player when healthy.

Didi Gregorius just got released. The Jays should rehab his knee and pick him up on the cheap. He is still a very good player when healthy and the next team that picks him up is going to be getting a steal.

I know Thornton has been better in a SSS, but I just can't ever feel comfortable with him pitching.

Does he have options left? If so it may not be a bad idea to let him work on some things in a less pressure filled environment. I doubt you would get much trading him now anyways.

Cavan does not look like a pro level player this year.

Anyone else worried by the lack of power from Kirk this year? He is making a ton of soft contact, even his line drives and fly outs look weak.
