he did a good job, he's no alan ashby but was surprisingly good. Howarth is very overrated and wilner is just plain awful. Give zaun a try or get some fresh blood

How is that, how much money do the red sox have committed to players over 30? Is their farm system barren? How many untradeable assets do they have?

I don't see the yankees doing anything of significance, they're old, no farm system to speak of and the redsox are still the best team in the divison. They're not better then the rays or rangers. Derek jeter is a thousand coming off two consecutive injury shorten seasons. They lost Arod for the year and Cano until at least 7 years. Tex is no longer a threat at the plate, Gardner's impact has to be less considering they will need to play soriano and old man ichiro. C.C is one pitch away from being retired ala roy halladay. Who in their bullpen besides Robertson is gonna pitch meaningful innings? I expect to be what they were last year 85-88 win team. Mediocre, kinda like the jays from 2006-2008

If he had a few more very good to great seasons for sure but the bar for firstbaseman is super high

They're not playing around they want the number 1 pick for the next two drafts so their draft bonus is bigger and they draft a top 3 talent every single year. They went to the extreme but I think Jeff luhnow is gonna turn that franchise around and they will be successful for years to come

depends all on Lawrie's health but I would agree with you because I don't believe stroman will see more then 50 innings

Albers is a gas can. Nice fastball but terrible secondaries

Remember when he came up, remember what baseball analysts taught us about player's primes and remember this year for Lawrie? Plus I didn't question his defense, he is a stud defensively. I question his health and his bat.

I never said he was, I said I believe in his talent but with no track record I can't say what he is at the major league level. I think you mistook what i thought Lawrie's best case scenario is 3.5 war/year for stroman
