    I feel like JV is just on the cusp of becoming a star. If he can develop a decent mid range game to keep guys honest he's going to be nasty. His post up game is progressing very nicely and he's becoming a beast on the offensive glass.

    lol If you go to failure you are pushing yourself much more than moving minimal weight. Use dumbbells starting out to increase your strength.. better range of motion and if you get stuck you aren't going to drop the bar on your neck.

    Why are you doing 10 reps? If you can do 10 reps of anything you are clearly strong enough to increase your weight. Always max out at least once or twice a week with your chest. If you can put 1-2 reps of 55-60 during your next workout that is a huge step forward. You'll be using the big boy weights in no time.

    I think a lot of that has to do with Lou/GV/Ross not being on together much anymore (i.e. JV doesn't end up looking retarded with guards screaming into the lane at him after they blow by the perimeter defenders). Demar isn't a great defender but he's a big upgrade over those three.

    Someone on Real GM made the following comment: "Thibs is certainly a good coach, I don't think anybody will dispute that. Unfortunately he does come with a style that seems to lead to tune-out eventually. He drives hard, all the time. I bet he'd be ridiculously good in the NCAA." I think this is a pretty fair assessment. You can't coach every game like it's a playoff game and not expect to piss a few of your players off. He's an upgrade over Casey (by a mile) but he has his warts.

    It'd be interesting to see how Thibs would handle this current group. The minutes would obviously be much better distributed but some of the passive guys would probably fold under him (looking at you Ross). JJ would probably be starting right now. JV would likely get 35+ minutes. Lowry would also likely get 35-40 MPG a game though (which would wear him down badly).

    Yes I'm aware Ronald Belisario and Jose Valverde are not hte same person. You seem to be very emotional about middle relievers. I suggest re-evaluating your life.

    If Belisario was some unassuming white guy he's probably bagging groceries right now. He's still given a chance because he "looks like a closer" (i.e. super cool glasses and loves screaming and waving his arms for no apparent reason).

    Casey changed the starting lineup around (Ross demoted, Vasquez promoted) so Ross & Lou are getting the majority of the wing bench minutes now. Casey said that it's just a case of not being able to work him into the lineup but there has been speculation about JJ and Casey butting heads.

    Ross' numbers are up across the board as a reserve. Lowry no longer playing hero ball. Defensive effort has been fantastic. A lot of reasons to be optimistic. We're officially out of that funk. Still way too reliant on perimeter play though. This is a formula for failure in the playoffs.

    Defensive effort was fantastic tonight. The Kings suck but there is no way we beat them by 15+ a few weeks ago.

    I got Row 1 tickets (so right behind courtside seats) for the Pelicans game last week for 100$ each (240 face for each). It's pretty easy to find desperate people on Kijiji when game day is nearing. I've officially sworn off Stubhub.

    Sucks that the Bulls won... Need to gain ground on all of these teams ASAP. If we don't get 3rd seed or higher we're screwed. Huge game vs Washington on Saturday. Need to find a way to get a big lead early vs Sacramento and Brooklyn to give the regulars a rest.
