  1. Bebe Nogueira has officially signed with the Raps and is no longer affiliated with his Euro League team. Good stuff.
  2. 2013: 8.1 BB%, 29.5 K%, 22.0 LD%, 33.0 GB%, 45 FB%, .356 BABIP 2014: 7.6 BB%, 32.4 K%, 22.4 LD%, 32.7 GB%, 44.8 FB%, .276 BABIP Almost the exact same hitter as last year, just way unluckier this year.
  3. Yeah having another durable workhorse would just be awful.
  4. This team is hilariously streaky. They'll probably score like 10 runs a game vs the Os next week. Makes no sense.
  5. Not sold on Rose playing for the entire year.
  6. He'll clearly never be the same. He's young so he has time on his side but that was f***ing horrendous. Aside from the physical issues it'll also be a huge mental barrier for him to trust his leg again as well. Willis McGahee destroyed his leg back when he played with The U and he recovered to have a solid career. Adrian Peterson came back from a terrible ACL/MCL injury and rushed for 2K yards... It can happen. Odds are against him though. Good for the Raps though. Only teams I'm nervous about in the East are Cleveland and Washington. I see no reason why the Raps can't easily finish 2nd in the EC next year.
  7. Marc J. Spears ✔ @SpearsNBAYahoo Follow Pacers guard Paul George had a "good surgery. No ancillary damage" but likely out for next season, a source told Yahoo Sports. Pacers are f***ed
  8. Also, some info coming out as to why Ujiri took Bruno so high: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/234502/Celtics-Mavericks-Were-Also-Interested-In-Bruno-Caboclo http://www.si.com/nba/2014/08/01/bruno-caboclo-toronto-raptors-masai-ujiri
  9. Quite possible. You almost never hear about guys getting busted for roids in the NBA... Makes you wonder how strict their testing system is. Maybe it's just genetics too. A lot of these guys simply have small legs/bones. They're long and lean. You see big, brutish offensive lineman in the NFL get drilled in the shins/legs all the time and you only see a few nasty breaks per year. Obviously heavy weight training for your legs would help in preventing these types of injuries (stronger ligaments and muscles keep things stabilized) but if you naturally have thin bones then there really isn't much you can do. http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--D6e0Wtx4--/c_fit,fl_progressive,q_80,w_636/18uwmdlimmyg2png.png http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/1383271_626856340689131_186121681_n.jpg http://blogimages.thescore.com/tbj/files/2012/10/lebron-durant-fantasy.jpg VS http://synergy-athletics.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/gregjones.jpg http://prod.static.49ers.clubs.nfl.com/assets/images/imported/photos/2007_otas/otas_week_3/clayton--nfl_large_580_1000.jpg Get these guys into a f***ing squat rack.
  10. That's a complete snap. There has to be some ligament damage as well there. There has to be something.
  11. You got quite silent all of a sudden Hurl! What was the end result?
  12. Some of these guys have insanely skinny legs. Tyson Chandler looks like he's never trained his legs a day in his life. Something like this was bound to happen.
  13. That's a career changing injury right there. Dear god. http://www.gfycat.com/CraftyFlickeringAdeliepenguin NSFW Link ^^^ Pacers won't make the playoffs this year.
  14. OMG saw the pics on twitter. This is horrifying. https://twitter.com/search?q=paul%20george&src=typd
  15. Where are you getting this from? You keep saying this.
  16. This bench is just.... so much better than it was earlier in the year.
