  1. #Analysis Buck is probably 7 or 8 Miller Light's deep right now.
  2. "John Gibbons knows that this team is built to win by scoring runs" -Buck Martinez
  3. Well it's going to be quite large. This is a pretty positive thing for the team.
  4. Raptors practice facility at the CNE (costing 30M) is being voted on right now at City Hall. Should be approved. Lowry, TL, and MU were in attendance. A world class facility should play a factor in attracting prime FA's up here.
  5. With all of this said, we are miraculously only 4.5 games out with 36 games to go (which includes a 4 game set against the Mariners at home in late September). This defeatist attitude is just sickening when we still have a decent shot at making some noise.
  6. Just a lack of professionalism throughout the organization. Makes you respect organizations like the San Antonio Spurs, STL Cardinals, Chicago Blackhawks, etc. so much more.
  7. This is the same guy that paid 100K for the below pictured Houston stripper to go on a date with him: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-L9hJxCRbjLM/UslAnK9j0tI/AAAAAAAAA8M/RK224U5Bipw/s1600/instamaliah5.jpg He's not too bright. He's a ballhog and a choke artist. He shot well under 40% from the field in his two playoff appearances with Houston. Without Durant or Westbrook he's nothing more than a stat sheet filler. I f***ing hate that guy.
  8. lol @ people asking why he's being moved through the system so quickly. This is nothing more than the actions of a desperate man on the brink of being fired. Desperate people do not act rationally. Pompey is probably on our OD roster next year.
  9. That 2006 team was good but they had zero pitching depth. Towers/Taubenheim/Chacin combined to start 36 games for them that year. If JP had gone out and gotten one more starter they're probably a 90+ win team. Gibby wasn't at fault there. That still bothers me to this day though. They were probably one pitcher away from being a real contender but nothing was done about it. We were 57-48 at the deadline but no reinforcements were brought in (similar to this year ha)
  10. Not sure where this myth about Juan Bomb having a good eye came from. A 7.4 BB% is pretty average. He doesn't do anything well. End of story.
  11. You just referenced wRC+ and fielding percentage in the same post. Amazing.
  12. As predicted, Derrick Rose experiencing knee soreness. O/U on games played for Rose this year: 50 I'm taking the under. Guy will never be the same.
  13. Oh I know. I'm just saying that he's probably a better alternative than what we've been throwing out here.
  14. And that, Juan Francisco, is how you f***ing cash in a run ya plug.
  15. At what point do you take a chance and give Redmond a shot at starting? I think he's earned the right to at least one or two starts. Hutch is gassed, you never know.
  16. Warm Redmond now. No time to dick around, they need to win this game.
  17. How is he useful though? He is defensively limited, he cannot hit LHP, and he cannot hit a breaking ball. He has a solid arm and can hit a ball into the 500 level a few times a year. That is not a useful player.
