    The inability to miss bats is definitely a concern but it's pretty undeniable how much movement is on that fastball or how good the stuff is. Career 2.38 GO/AO in the minors... That's pretty damn good. It's not like teams are just crushing balls off of him. You have to at least give him a full year or two of starting before sending him to the pen.

    I don't understand the hate Toronto gets sometimes. It's a gorgeous city, has a ton of awesome places to live/party, it's extremely clean/safe. Most of these American cities are pure trash. I was just in Chicago and I would 100% prefer to live in Toronto over Chicago (even though it's still a beautiful city). If I was a ballplayer I think I'd only prefer NY, Miami, San Fran, and maybe Seattle over Toronto if I was concerned about my quality of living.

    Winning changes everything. Look at Oklahoma City/Cleveland in the NBA... Green Bay in the NFL... Detroit/St Louis in MLB... These are laughable cities/towns. Toronto is world class relative to them. Put together a few winning seasons and the free agents will come. Grass is important but it's not that important.

    So is Graveman a real prospect or what? Regardless, still pretty promising to have another young pitcher zoom through the system like he has. Wonder if they pull a Nestor Molina and sell high.

    Over the last two seasons (min 100IP) Cecil is 12th in xFIP for relievers (better than Doolittle, Rodney, Rosenthal, etc) Small sample alert but he's pretty damn good. Hopefully he gets a lot of high leverage chances down the stretch. Either he or Loup probably gets the closer job next year.
