Rationally no, I don't feel much different, but I do feel more blinded with optimism. It's a nice feeling. -

They're missing a couple regulars but Cabrera, Headley, Gyorko, Venable are all good. Denorfia's ok. There's no defending Rene Rivera though...

Sorry I'm not seeing what's so boring about the Padres. They've developed a nice underrated core of position players in recent years. Plus Cashner is pretty cool. I think a lot of people are just turned off by their grey uniforms.
