  1. Ding ding ding!!! He's basically the devil
  2. From what I gathered from some people, it's the devils holiday/satanic representation. Mind you this is from some people's view who are Muslim, some people might vary or other religions might vary
  3. Lots of Muslims are too.
  4. good on you! People need to stop making holidays boring with religion, I heard there was a haunted house sponsored by a church (in Etobicoke i think?) that was basically a scared straight type of thing, instead of monsters and stuff you see people committing sins and they gave a speech or something at the end too.
  5. Well I stopped treating after grade 9, but I might have done a bit tricking in 10 and 11. 12 I full stopped lol
  6. I swear to you, my trick or treating days have been over!! Time to give back I guess
  7. More like busy giving out damn candies to kids!!
  8. f*** Chicago, Indians gonna take this
  9. Yeah while it was refreshing to see, I still think there is limits. You can't keep barking over and over again, that was embarrassing by Lackey lol
  10. I didn't catch the game so I saw the highlights... wow how was Lackey not ejected for barking at the umpire so much?
  11. Lamo so now I become the guy with no empathy... you guys are crazy it's pointless discussing with you guys sometimes. Apperently only empathy is allowed when discussing a death a month later after the event, no ones aloud to discuss it. No one can learn anything or have any takeaways from it.
  12. It doesn't matter what he did was still WRONG. It's not like he had a mental issue, you might kill INNOCENT people. This is why educating people that a DUI is wrong will help future generations not repeat the same mistake. YOU don't take out YOUR issues hurting OTHER people. BTS I know he was stressed but if people give him a pass then people in the future will continue to do this like a never ending cycle. We need to teach there's other ways of dealing with stress. This isn't the 50s, we know a large part of deaths on the road is the result of DUIs
  13. Lmao ok bud. I have never seen anyone defend anyone for a DUI f*** out of here. I DD for my friends all the time because not only do I want them not to hurt themselves but not to hurt others but s*** I guess I'm wrong, let my boys go kill themselves because they got into an argument with their girls, because life is just a soap opera right?
  14. You're right I'm wrong to come to conclusions so early based on not much information, I'll hold off talking about JF's particular situation until a full autopsy and report is formed. I still think that just because you got into an argument doesn't excuse you from endangering the public. It's a public space, you wanna blow some steam do it in private don't drive drunk
  15. Oh really? s*** ok, guys the next person who gets a DUI here just tell the cop and court that you had an argument with your baby moms and see if they drop your case! And if the judge disagrees tell them they can't relate to reacting to an argument with a loved one by driving drunk to blow off steam!!
  16. You're operating a 2000+ pound metal hunk of machinery in the middle of the night drunk because you got into an argument and want to blow off some steam... I don't even know how anyone can disagree with this being selfish and putting everyone at risk. If I had to learn that one of my loved ones passed away because they got killed by a person operating a vehicle under the influence I wouldn't even know how to process that. Just because I'm a "18 years old and were raised in a very conservative environment" doesn't mean I don't know what's right and what's wrong.
  17. What experience is he missing? Knowing that preforming a DUI is putting the public in danger? This is educated in school, when you get your drivers licence and is showcased on ads everywhere. If he came to the country recently from a place where that education wasn't provided, I'd see what you're talking about. He's been in America and its school system since 2007. I'm not giving someone a pass because they're ignorant, and this moment isn't telling of who he was. The world isn't black or white. He's a great guy it seems with a great passion for the community and is loved by everyone, but everyone makes mistakes and this mistake was a HUGE one in terms of possible effects it should have had on the public. I'm not saying JF is a scumbag, i'm saying what he did was selfish and scumbag-esque. This is a tragic moment, but people need to realize that this mistake he paid for and OTHERS could have paid for it as well. People need to keep being educated that drinking and driving isn't a joke. I guess you're right, I'll reserve my complete judgement until the autopsy is complete. But there aren't much other conclusions when what we know so far is: - He got into an argument with his girl and left to the bar - They smelled like alcohol and receipts of alcohol were found in pockets of the guys on the boat - It was his boat
  18. Being down with it is almost as bad as doing it. There are 3 men on Jose's boat and none of them stopped this from happening. Whether he's driving the boat or not it's, on him. It's on the other 2 as well. 2 of the 3 men should have stopped this from happening. They paid the price, but their actions were wreckless enough to cost them more than that, thankfully they didn't hit another boat
  19. No. It was reckless and he could have taken OTHER peoples lives. I hate people who drive under the influence of anything. I'm just thankful that they didn't kill anyone else. IF everyone was drunk on the boat (the report is smell of alcohol was found, they were at the bar, and a receipt of alcohol was found in one of their pockets..), scumbag is a fair word for putting other people at risk driving recklessly and under influence in a huge hunk of metal because he felt emotional.

Holy f*** did you guys see that Marner assist? Crazy!
  21. Huh? What are you talking about? The next day we figured out that he had a fight with his girl and they went to a bar that night. You think he went to the bar and didn't drink? Come on man, we've seen stories like this happen before
  22. I think tragedy is a great word here, personally I have a big thing against anyone who is under the influence of drinks/drugs and decides to operate a motorized vehicle, and just because he's a young ballplayer I liked, it doesn't make it any different. Regardless it is still very sad and a tragic event. But I'm glad they didn't take anyone else's lives out there
  23. I'm surprised Donaldson didn't get a shot, but it's not like the choices are bad either. 3B defence in the AL is pretty strong
  24. Bumping this for an update, didn't see this get posted here: Jose Fernandez, companions had strong odor of alcohol after fatal crash Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez and two other men who perished in a violent boat crash off of South Beach last month all had a strong odor of alcohol on them when their bodies were examined by the medical examiner, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by the Miami Herald. http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/article110563512.html
