    We pull a miracle AFTER we acquire a solid 2B, a solid bat, our starters go back to form and we sign one more starter + have a breakout season from another pitcher (notably Hutch or Stroman). So basically what BTS said lol

    That's a really good point actually. No matter what you say about the MLSE they got their s*** together with the Leafs and TFC as soon as money started to come in. No more ********. Also I don't think they're out of money, they can't be, their TV ratings and attendance sky-rocketed last year.

    My problem is that I am in constant denial. I refuse to accept that this fat f*** gets paid tonnes more than me for a long time to sit around and do nothing. Nothing! I mean, I doubt he's made any calls to anyone, especially since reports are coming out that he hasn't offered crap to Jimenez and Santana. But then again if the O's signing Jimenez (and if they sign one of Cruz/Morales) and what the Yankees and Red Sox have done haven't woken him up, nothing will.

    Offencive boost. So when Bautista and/or Reyes go on their typical one month injury vacations we won't have a deficit in offence. If we're going all in, we can offer good priced contracts for them, especially Cruz. Long term this might not be the best solution, but this team isn't good for the long term anyways lol

    I think we can still save the season. We can sign Cruz/Morales (whoever the O's don't sign) + Drew (no progress with NYM) + Santana/Capauano (whoever the M's don't sign) before ST and salvage everything. Reyes SS Bautista RF Encarnacion 1B Cruz LF (or something)/Morales DH Rasmus CF Lawrie 3B Lind DH/Melky DH Navarro C Drew 2B Dickey Morrow Buehrle Capauano/Santana Someone looks pretty sexy imo but probably still not in fatass's plans

    At this point I don't mind a firesale and starting with scratch with a new GM and CEO. Hell fire all the personnel and keep Gibby lol. I don't mind putting up with a crap team for 5 more years if it means we get to build a dynasty.
