  4. The site down (except the chatbox) one day, and in the chatbox we (notably ECJF, Northy and I from what I recall) decided to use the MLB Rays' board as the Jays board. We made a GDT, and basically recreated every "front page thread" that is on this site on theirs.... which lead to me getting banned (they suspected me to be a guy called "Gas" - who's probably their biggest troll) Good times lol
  5. Hey! I'm still on the hook for the whole "Twinkies" thing??

Jays: Dickey has overcome a trying start to go 5-1 with a 3.28 ERA in his last eight outings, including Wednesday's 8-2 victory in Detroit. The knuckleballer struggled with his command, surrendering two runs and seven hits while walking four in five innings. He's been substantially better at home with a 5-1 record and 3.48 ERA in eight starts. The Jays were cooled off with consecutive 5-0 losses to St. Louis over the weekend after winning 15 of 17. They had previously been shut out only once all season. One of the top hitting teams in the AL, Toronto was held to a combined seven hits in those two defeats as stars Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion went 0 for 14 Adam Lind has multiple hits in 10 of his past 19 starts, dating back to May 11. In that span, he is hitting .391 (27-for-69) with 11 extra-base hits, eight walks and nine RBIs. Twins: Nolasco is seeking his third straight win after allowing four runs in seven innings of Wednesday's 6-4 home victory over Milwaukee. Aside from a three-run homer in the seventh, it was a relatively smooth outing. The Twins, who are batting .245 with 49 homers, have dropped three of four after Sunday's 14-5 loss to Houston. The Twins cleared room for newly signed Kendrys Morales by designating struggling outfielder Jason Kubel for assignment. Since Morales is out of options and isn't injured, Minnesota immediately added him to its 25-man roster. Jays: Hutchison has gone 3-0 with a 2.03 ERA in his last four outings after going 0-2 with a 5.59 ERA over his previous three. He allowed three hits with seven strikeouts over seven innings Monday before Toronto scored five in the ninth for a 5-3 win at Detroit. Jose Reyes is on an eight-game hitting streak and has reached base in 32 of his past 34 games. He is hitting .313 (36/115) with eight doubles, two triples, one homer, 11 walks and nine stolen bases in his past 28 games. Toronto has held sole possession of first place in the American League East for 17 consecutive days. The most recent time the club had been alone in first for that long was in 1993 (June 24 until the end of the season). The last time Toronto was alone in first later than June 7 was July 6, 2000 (46-40, 1/2 game ahead). Cardinals: Garcia surrendered season highs of six runs - all in the fifth - and eight hits over five innings Monday, but did not get a decision in an 8-7 home loss to Kansas City. The Cardinals have stranded 39 runners on base in the first four games of this trip and 57 over the team's past seven games. St. Louis is hitting just .205 while averaging 2.9 runs over the last 9 games, and Matt Holliday is among those struggling, going 4 for 27 in his last nine games.
