  1. He was in the Dunedin team for the past 2 days I think
  2. You're probably right, I just don't like his makeup at all. He looks like he's going to get hurt on every swing or everytime he's tracking a ball. I hope he finishes strong and i never see him in a Jays jersey again lol
  3. Saunders is probably just getting rested. Not exactly ripping the ball right now anyways might as well have someone who can handle the bat with speed down in the order
  4. He only took a cortisone shot so all that does is provide relief not heal anything, it will probably linger, but almost everyone on the team is playing with something hurt. I don't know how JD's ankles and thumb are still functioning And now that I think about it he might have been ready to play today (Goins was optioned so one less backup IFer if something goes wrong) but because we have Bautista back we can afford to keep Travis on the bench for one more game
  5. Lineup's out: Bautista Donaldson Edwin Martin Tulo Pillar Upton Carerra Barney Goins optioned, loup stays up! Travis out for 3rd straight game tho
  6. He's gonna be back up here september (i assume he's going down for either Bautista or Sanchez), I hope he can prove to stay on the postseason roster
  7. I just wanna say Aaron Loup looked really great yesterday. If he pitches like this and used properly I think he's gonna be a huge key for this team. Obv it is very small sample size buuut he had a couple more mph on his pitches and looked like he had great control. In his last AAA stint he also had 13ks to 1 walk in 8.2 innings and serving a .333 BAA on a .522 BABIP. Maybe I'm looking way too much into this but man we really need a lefty and if he can turn the corner..
  8. Estrada hit a bump. No need for stats to see what's wrong with him, his curve was not located last game and last 2 his changeup has been hung. He needs solid command of fastball and changeup to not get crushed like he did in Milwalkee given his low velocity. Also he needs a 3rd pitch, the curve, to work or else they'll sit mid-80s and adjust to the changeup. He needs the 3rd pitch in the rotation to keep hitters thinking. Yesterday he had only 2 pitches working and his change was left up half the time, especially early, not exactly recepie for success
  9. Didn't most of their original high quality writers get picked up by networks and front offices? Since then I just started taking most their articles with a grain of salt
  10. 2B Travis 3B Donaldson RF Bautista 1B Encarnacion C Martin SS Tulowitski DH Saunders LF Upton CF Pillar With Bautista healed of course, until then he's DHing. Then you can rotate Bautista, Edwin and Saunders in the DH role. Also when rosters expand and our offence is hitting on all cylinders I don't mind putting Kratz to catch and DH Martin while we platoon Upton and Saunders in left to keep him fresh and not tail off like last year's post season
  11. Winning run in scoring position with 1 out for the Rays Good job Martin!
  12. Hahahahaha I hope he pitches well enough to change your mind
  13. He did last year. What lefties do we have today other than gas can Cecil? Come on man I'd love to rail on gibbons but be realistic with what you're complaining about
  14. ..... You want him to play matchups down 7-0?
  15. Loup pitched his ass off. If he preforms like this as a loogy he's going to be a great addition
  16. How many lefties can do well against Trout and Pujols?
