  1. We're first in the division...
  2. He asked the ump and he told him the ball was outside, strike three wasn't too far off from the other one
  3. Donaldson!!! Drive em in boys!!
  4. That's a pretty lit start let's go Sanchy
  5. That's actually pretty crazy. So our last 4 post-season appearance not only are they paired back to back, but all finished with the same record through 132
  6. Man the Don Valley Hotel is situated in a nice place if you have a car rental or even if you want to take the TTC - I believe the 34 runs through there. Plus the science Center is like 5 minutes away! I used to pass by that hotel all the time, good area
  7. Hello! Try Airbnb! I love it I prefer using that to using a hotel, cheaper and more value than a hotel
  8. That's a homer with extra Canadian Bacon!!!! GOOOOOONE
  9. If we go with a 7 man pen in the post season, who would you take? I see: Osuna Grilli Benoit Biagini Cecil Feldman Liriano Assuming we go with a 5 man bench (Navarro, Smoak, Carerra, Barney, Goins/Pompey?). Or are we going with a 4 man bench and one of Loup/Barnes/Shultz in the pen?
  10. What are you talking about. We went through over 20 year playoff drought, one of the longest in history, with owners who own the team, stadium and tv channel making cake but not putting a good product on the field. Obviously we weren't gonna keep going. We're not the leafs fanbase. Also I extremely disagree with the last comment. People watch leafs games in the winter where its snowing outside and iced inside the ACC. A winning team will make people come its as easy as that. Cleveland is a s***** fanbase because its one of the worst attendance while they are a first place team with a good stadium. Same with the Rays fans during the Maddon era, which i guess their stadium sucks, but still not an excuse for not showing up and supporting the team leading the AL east with a quarter of the Yankees payroll. Those are pathetic fanbases. We went through 21 years of s*** don't compare us to them
  11. That's why we won't ever trade for Votto. It doesn't make sense for us. I'm saying from their it's not crazy to ask for a young bright player for a current MVP candidate.
  12. I wonder how Sanchez is going to get handled for the rest of September... if he comes back lights out he's going to get preserved as a starter right? Well how's that going to work? Another go at the 6 man? Go with the current 5 man and spot start Sanchez against division rivals? Go with a 5 man including Sanchez and put Liriano in the pen? I'd think that's where he'd be in the post-season anyways... If Sanchez has 2 bad starts then you bet your ass he's going to the pen and Liriano's getting the 4th man in the rotation come the post season, but if he continues his pace it's going to get interesting. I'm still in favour if piggybacking him with Dickey, I think having the fireballer pitch 3 innings and have the lineup go through once of 93+ fastballs with late movement then moving on to a mid 70s dancing knucleball is a deadly combination. Plus Dickey can give you 5 strong and if it gets dicey by the 7th or 8th you can use Grilli or Benoit or Biagini to bridge to Osuna in the 9th. Imagine having 3 innings of Sanchez, 5 innings of Dickey and an inning of Osuna... literally a rollercoaster of pitchers
  13. Lmao that's actually plausible But seriously, I don't think it's a big stretch if the Reds agree to eat a lot of Votto's salary, people are acting like Votto isn't good or something. He's arguably been top 3 batter in the NL after the all-star break and can play great defence at first base. His contract is the only thing unattractive about him but if the Reds take a lot of the remaining amount then you're literally getting a possible MVP candidate on a favourable contract, and that's not cheap at all. That's also why he won't get moved now, he'll get moved in the offseason instead
  14. Lol that was a week ago
  15. I thot Shultz was coming in
