    Benoit was gonna have the same thing Grilli is facing now. Fatigue. These old guys can't keep throwing that hard deep in their 30s. If he's back by the ALDS I'll be happy, our pen doesn't just rely on one guy like Benoit, he's been great but the rest will do him a world of good. I also don't want to see Grilli until maybe Boston. We have Biagini, Feldman, Cecil and Barnes who can give us quality innings we'll hold it down

    More like Cecil and Barnes. Feldman's getting 0 looks right now too. This is a chance for Gibby to break out of the roles for a good 5-6 games to rest Osuna, Grilli and Benoit + help structure the pen personelle for the postseason roster

    Happ is the only guy with balls to back up out batters. Our only other retaliation was Happ as well when Donaldson got hit earlier in the season. And it has nothing to do with the Yanks either, this is a message to the other 28 teams in the majors. But if I had to be 100% honest, I think the umps mishandled that game. A warning should have been issued as soon as the first pitch from Happ was behind Headley. If that was debatable, then Severino should have been ejected for throwing inside to Smoak on his first pitch of the 2nd. Two situations where the Warning-Ejection procedure could have been executed properly and wasn't. I don't give a f*** though, almost all the times a player of ours gets hit with intent or without intent we get warned without a chance to retaliate. Maybe this has to do with Bautista getting hit then both sides being warned immediately, 0 chance to return the favour.

    Yo what I don't get is the whole "keep Jose cool" text. The caption said something along the lines of begging his friend (not Jose but one do the other 2) not to go as if Jose was pissed and was going to do something out of emotion. I really don't like speculating stuff so I won't guess what happened but this is the 3rd time i see the picture and all 3 times that text jumps out at me. Maybe it's because every time I've a "keep ____ cool" text means I'm not able to come prevent ____ from doing something stupid/reckless so you make sure he doesn't. But maybe I'm misunderstanding.

    Lol Howarth is the best, he's talking about how the Yankees 3B coach was the one who made the pitching change last inning and he said it reminded him of something in Seattle with the Jays. Then the first thing he says is "Bobby Cox got ejected.." I was expecting something recent but nope! Threw it all the way back lol one of the best storytellers in baseball
