  1. I did. Should help me out nicely.
  2. Couldn't you just google it, or go to ESPN?
  3. http://www.baseballamerica.com/majors/prospect-lookback-greg-maddux/
  4. Big picture
  5. Four 2-hit games with 2 doubles and a jack against our dominating staff.
  6. They were stand-alone comments I was throwing around and wasn't serious about. So I didn't really care to continue the conversation on them. If you think I seek out who's responding to me so I can respond back, prepare for disappointment. The idea I was most serious about was the Pitch F/X screen.
  7. For sure. And the way this team is currently being run there will always be less than desirable players starting around the diamond.
  8. They must've only gone back to a particular year. Cy Young had 19 consecutive 200+ And also threw 15 consecutive years of 300+ Edit: Looks like Warren Spahn was the man Sportsnet was referring to.
  9. There's others on the team I'm less satisfied with what they provide and what they're paid.
  10. I'm still laughing.
  11. It's all about expectations and never being satisfied.
  12. What would you give up though? LA is likely looking for a name, or overpay by sending a prospect that makes Colletti take notice.
  13. OT- I hope the committee looking at speeding the game up doesn't do anything crazy. I hope any changes are mild and aren't an in your face this is the change.
  14. What was the ridiculous number then?
  15. Or there could be a large Pitch F/X screen in each park showing the strike zone and whatever the zone says, is.
  16. Maybe they can make it more & more public and shove it in the umps faces. "These great framing catchers around baseball who are making your called strikes that are actually balls, are worth 75m a year."
  17. But, but...they were playing well at the time. Kinda like how no one, and I mean no one wants to trade anyone who is playing well. OMG you suggested we trade Edwin or Jose?!?!?!?!?! It's way too early they've got two years left on the contracts and they're destroying the ball.
  18. Sor-ry. I forgot who the s*** catcher was that the tag of 75m was placed on. I was laughing so hard when that number was thrown out I forgot.
  19. Thread refers to the masses who are money and noise and nothing else.
  20. I'm actually hoping MLB does this so I don't have to hear that Rene Rivera or Ryan Hanigan is worth 75m a year.
  21. If MLB implanted a chip in every baseball to determine a ball or strike, eliminating the need for umps, would pitch framing exist?
  22. Sadly Navarro having a solid 2014 over his career line at 30 means let's keep him. And when he underperforms in 2015 they'll let him walk away for nothing instead of moving him for something now.
