  1. Moreso of a fan than most.
  2. 1. I don't like active, old players, unless they're legends still playing great into their late 30's (Bonds, Molitor, Clemens) 2. I don't like the old man wearing baggy pants and unkempt look. The Red Sox and their stupid beards.....Lind and his dumb beard...all dumb. 3. People have their dislikes of players. I don't like guys who all of a sudden figure things out late in their careers. Don't like old players, never liked knuckleball pitchers. 4. It wasn't the RA Dickey channel that kept showing him being driven around Toronto and talking about his life story. I knew he was raped/molested before he was traded for. I don't see what the purpose was to bring it up again. Just because he's on a new team doesn't mean he needs to make the new fanbase aware of what happened to him.
  3. I hated Sammy Sosa. I didn't care for him sprinting into the OF, didn't care for the constant gestures towards the sky, didn't care for the finger kisses double finger taps on the chest in the dugout. Annoying. Same goes for ARod. Annoying but great player.
  4. The thing is Americans prefer to live and play in the States. And even in the shitholes of the US, there's nice areas in and around those s*** holes.
  5. I've been to every team's home park. Toronto is easily one of the nicest cities. But if I were to choose where to play baseball it wouldn't be Toronto.
  6. It's like he's trying too hard.
  7. 1.He's old 2.He looks sloppy 3.He was acquired at his absolute peak value that he never would've approached when younger and never would again, and a heavy price was paid. 4.The Jays played up Dickey's childhood story 5.He reminds me of Hans Gruber from Diehard and I couldn't stand Hans
  8. Hopefully when the time comes and the Jays replace the turf with grass, the Jays don't install bad grass. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/story/_/id/11421936/scott-van-slyke-los-angeles-dodgers-exits-apparent-ankle-injury
  9. With Anibal Sanchez out for a bit, maybe the Tigers might bite on Buehrle?
  10. We'll wake up in the morning and he'll be on a flight to Toronto.
  11. But if I did pick a team, it would be the Redskins. I love their nickname
  12. Alvarez must've either rapidly developed with the Marlins or he must've been holding back with the Jays, because he didn't do anything special here. And the scouting reports weren't glowing either.
  13. Could be anything. I was in Cincy a couple years ago and Chapman topped out at 100.
  14. It's pretty easy to figure out.
  15. And I'll keep coming back to your stupid hypothetical, because a hypothetical knows no boundary. Here I'll play. If Alex Anthpoulous hypothetically fathered every MLB player and they all wanted to play for their Dad. And Alex picked all the best players in MLB, do you think the Jays would win? OMG, hypotheticals are sooooo f***ing fun. Jays are the best!!!
  16. If I have handicap, can you get in touch with the guy that decapitated James Foley in Iraq? I don't want to live any longer if that's the case.
  17. You suggesting a mid-market team trading Stroman and Hutch for Price is crazy. Both criteria you attached to the hypothetical situation aren't even close to happening, so why even suggest doing a trade like that.
  18. Sure thing bredren.
  19. Shouldn't you have linked the pic up when you suggested trading two cost controlled pitchers for an expensive short term rental that would've impacted other critical roster decisions for following year. And there's always a place for racism.
  20. Stroman & Hutch for Price.....bwahahahaha
  21. Who f***ing cares about racism?
