    What if you get an elite SP under team control for several years in return? Yes, the jays are loaded with pitchers on the farm, and there is nothing wrong with having more pitching then you need in the future. Pitchers generally have more trade value. The question is how to fix the jays which i interpret to mean an immediate fix to take a run at the postseason this year.

    it wasn't just a SP, it was also a MLB reliever and a prospect. Matt Harvey, Alex Torres and some A level prospect
