    Nah, he's not my favourite player at all. Just the latest of potential frontline starters to keep an eye on. Not making the assumption, the possibility exists he has been instructed to work on FB command, and not to worry about results. Fact is, none of us know whats going on. MiLB stats can be misleading.

    wasn't there last night, and just read the exchange what o2 posted wasn't racist over the top use of banhammer..... mod was not and could not be impartial in making the banning decisions suggest that if a mod is part of the exchange, should recognize conflict of interest and not use the banhammer

    last year, when Melky had a good season with the Jays (by his stds), he amassed 2.4 WAR in 139 games. Saunders accumulated 2 WAR in 78 games. over the same number of games Saunders blows Melky away

    it's not one or the other. to truly contend for the WS the Jays need both a good SP and a good RP. and I'm 99% sure the FO knows this

    the knowledgeable posters, such as myself, were ok with 3/30 for Melky, which as it turns out, would have been worse than Mouser..... and the same posters also knew Saunders is a much better all around ballplayer

    trade for a SP, put Sanchez in the bullpen (he can't pitch enough innings to be a SP all season anyway)

    Jays have had bad luck trading for WS pitchers. Shark's innings were ramped up fairly quickly..... I'd be extremely cautious with any deal for him
