  1. If he wants a coaching job, the Jays should f***ing give him one
  2. Will Smith is on a nice heater, 9 hits in 12 AB
  3. All the negative Nancys can let out a sigh of relief
  4. Top 40 at least He's hitting like Nolan Gorman before his call up
  5. Ho hum game for Elly. 3-5 with a double and 3 SB, now 15 on the year.
  6. Some guys here will be eating crow
  7. That's rather harsh. He missed a fair bit of time. A bust is someone that can't even hold a MLB job. Since his age 24 season he's been an average MLB pitcher. xFIP 4.37 in 2021, 4.19 in 2024 so far. I'm discounting his two 2022 starts prior to his going on the IL. He's no David Clyde or Brien Taylor
  8. It would have to be NAD or something.
  9. No. Years of finishing last turned the franchise around.
  10. Not looking forward to seeing a sea of orange at the AS game.
  11. Jays had reasonable SP depth at start of the season. But you know, s*** happens. There are retreads out there to be had if need be. Jays could also get creative and use Pearson as an opener and follow him with Y-Rod.
  12. Yes, lower expectations for Springer. Also it's early still, he has lots of time to get it going, but he's probably a 2 WAR and declining player going forward.
  13. I muted you from BORED chat for a few hours when it got out of control, that's it. Once an owner leaves when the season is going on, we cannot hesitate in finding new owners. Good on you honouring the bet and look forward to when you get back on this board.
  14. I recall a lot of posters up in arms about the Y-Rod deal. Once again, looks like Ross made a great signing. Trust the FO boys.
  15. He was was the 2nd half of last year and lost the CL role to Scott. I dropped Puk in BBDL a few weeks ago. A waste of a roster spot.
  16. ya its 7 days, could be as simple as a finger cut
  17. He was close to the line where he should be. Ball was hit hard, low on the line. Tough get
  18. Was yelling at Schneider to take out Swanson after the 2nd batter, f***er ignored me
  19. At the game section 232
  20. If scheffler is 75% of Tiger's peak at present, and clearly improving and separating from the pack, with the only real difference being putting, which is very volatile, then yes he's not far off and let's see how the other majors go this year. Performance in the majors is the real measuring stick.
  21. Hilarious. You moved that goalposts. First you said Tiger was a 1 in 100 year athlete, now you say Tiger's peak was 1 in 100 year. Which is probably correct.
