    Peter Bavasi hired Gillick. A new stadium was a given, the mistake by the lake could not continue. The end result, retracting roof is nice but the Rogers Centre is somewhat like a mausoleum. Beeston reportedly was not involved in the Shapiro selection. We can credit him for hiring Gord Ash and AA, I suppose.

    Ya I don't know what's to celebrate about Beeston's time as president, other than longevity.

    I don't think 2015 Revere would make much of a difference. He is more than offset by Travis who was MIA the 2nd half last season. The real issue with the position players is injuries (for example Martin has battled injuries probably 3/4 of the season), and Odor's punch.

    Liriano out of the pen for sure. Not Dickey, but if Gibbons is the one that decides on the post season roster, Dickey is on the roster.
