  1. Didn't want to take 3 pitchers in a row but the position player 'spects remaining on my list are underwhelming Franklin Perez
  2. i'm at work, and my stuff at home, wont be able to pick till 5 pm... is that ok
  3. Really interested to see who you fell in love with
  4. Have assumed all drops are done...... with the #1 pick I select the Lebron James of baseball, Hunter Greene!
  5. There are plenty of other types that once they get that big contract they don't particularly give a s***. I respect Colby for putting in the effort even though he apparently hated playing. Most in that position would just go through the motions. On a related slant, I'd like to pick Luis Robert 1st in BORED on his 5 tool potential but won't because the ability of Cubans to handle the switch from poverty to extreme wealth is generally suspect, IMO. Robert is probably too busy shopping since he signed to put in the effort needed.
  6. the only thing urena has going for him is his age.... he's got time to turn it around but at this point he's not even a Goins
  7. haven't heard a peep from speedymin or GD since i joined.....
  8. oldest team in mlb, start the rebuild already
  9. Is he worth a 3rd rounder
  10. Kintzler and Tepera are available for anyone wanting a RP upgrade. Also, Russell Martin, Tulo, Estrada, Ellsbury, Markakis
  11. Just a minor thing - board shows both Abom and I with the #1 pick - he traded it to me.
  12. Dunedin lineup 1-4: Alford Bichette Pentecost Vladdy
  13. Mine too. Whats the f***ing plm?
  14. Payroll dropping is fine with me. It fits with how a WS series champ is built. Get the controllable pieces in place that bring the team to 85-90 wins, then with the higher payroll from increased attendance, buy some free agents to get to the 90-95 or 100 win threshold.
  15. True, but these Cuban players are enigmatic.
  16. Higher bust potential - Greene or Robert?
  17. Michael A. Taylor was my best pickup in my short time here. 2.1 WAR in 260 PA, only 26.
  18. Agree with this but add Osuna to the list. Teams overvalue high leverage relievers at the deadline, Osuna could fetch an extremely good return.
  19. Houston is an ideal trading partner, plenty of good prospects blocked by the guys on the bigly roster
  20. for me, it was Sanchez durability concern for voting for Stro. Sanchez has missed time every year
  21. I can't understand why Stro would be on the bench in the first place
  22. Jays have the team salary to field a fanbase palatable team each year, and sell off the overachievers at the break (looking at you, Smoak) to aid in the rebuild. Its possible to build up the prospect base through the draft and sell offs and have 10+ cost controlled regulars on the roster in 3 years.
