  1. LOL, BB is the one that originally said he would make the trade again in hindsight. Try to keep up, ********.
  2. No, its not easy. Did I say it was?
  3. The gap between 2015 Tulo and a Barney type is a lot less than the 6 games they won ALE by. The gap is like 1 - 1.5 games. No way in hell do I make that trade in hindsight.

Komarov has been brutal though. Kadri and Marner worked well together before, I'd swap out Komarov and Marner when his time in the doghouse is over.

Nylander spent time on the 4th line last season. Like Nylander then, Marner is in Bab's doghouse. Do not question the master's methods.
  6. On what basis do you say that? Tulo was not good after coming over at the deadline. On the field yes, but effectively on the field and at the plate he was not much better than Barney.
  7. You should follow along. BB says in hindsight he would make the Tulo trade again, and says without him the Jays don't make the 2015 and 2016 postseasons. Tulo 2015 wRC+ August 86 September/October 70 Basically, Barney level with the bat. Do the Jays make the 2015 postseason with someone like Barney at SS? Jays won ALE by 6 games so based on the numbers alone, probably.
  8. Probably true, but they also likely win with someone other than Tulo or Reyes.
  9. Not easy but doable. Cards say no to that. Reyes + a lesser prospect then.
  10. Harper =/= Donaldson I'd be looking to extend Harper for 8 or 9 years if I was the Nats. Donaldson is in his decline years. I'd trade Donaldson for Reyes + Gyorko in a heartbeat, then renegotiate Tulo's contract to pay him $40M in 2018 and $6M in 2019 and 2020 Would free up plenty of $$ to make a run at a top free agent after the 2018 season to pair with Vladito and Bichette at the start of 2019
  11. You'd do the Tulo trade over? Serious?
  12. so far...... Hoffman's thrown some gems. There's a good chance he will continue to refine his arsenal and become a #1 or 2
  13. Who would you rather have? 1. Stanton 2. Donaldson signed for 2018 through 2024 at $30M AAV Both would be 38 yrs old at expiry
  14. right forgot about that, and many on here snapped them up
  15. crazy there are lots of tix to the game available at quite reasonable (as low as $64) prices
  16. Missed most of May, all of June, and 1st week of July. Knee surgery. Came back and hit well from the get go. Definitely a player to watch in 2018. Possibly Jansen and McGuire will share DH and C at Buffalo?
  17. As is spam and shitposting. Need hawkish admin/mods, not present here. Although the mods do a good job as their time permits.
  18. Cozart coming off 2.5 and 5 WAR seasons. Most likely will cost ~15M AAV for 2/3 yrs. No way the Jays do that, they will get what they can from their $20M man and Barney.
  19. Too right wing. Would start an interwebz war in no time at all.
  20. that can't be predicted. we know he is capable of 120, even higher, or he could continue to decline to 90 or less. Gun to my head, 95 is a reasonable prediction. With declining range in the field.
  21. If Goins had a season like that, I would be looking to trade his ass ASAP. And no, I am not a traditionalist. Whatever gave you that idea? I'm in favour of a balanced use of sabermetrics and scouting.
  22. nah i know about the .363 babip
  23. Nats need to make a move.
  24. picked up taylor for free lol. 30/30 guy?
  25. Good. No long term contracts to past their prime players.
