    Some wild ramblings here. Cubs had trouble fitting Ian Happ into the lineup and need pitching. Stroman for Happ and Almora Jr. Trade Pillar for whatever. Move Donaldson for Reyes + a secondary prospect. Open the vault and sign Darvish. Use this to induce Ohtani to come to Toronto.

    Of course. That's not the debate. BB says he would do the Tulo trade over again knowing how it turned out. I don't agree.

    85 runs and 59 swipes in 139 games. I see 100+ runs and ~80 swipes in a full season. Would keep him but I have a lot of speed on my roster.

    Billy Hamilton available for a 2018 2nd rounder. 59 swipes in an off season for him, battled some injuries. Still only 27.

    Morrow UFA this year. He will be pursued as a closer. (Picked him up in BORED for free in August )

    Without the Tulo trade they are comfortably in the playoffs. I can understand the trade, but at the time I was ambivalent about it. Was glad to see Reyes gone but did not like the prospect capital given up. BB says he would do the trade again. I doubt many would agree with that.

    I agree with that. Strictly by the numbers, the Jays still make the postseason. But there are other intangibles, which I why I said "probably".

    Since the end of 2015 season I have been, and consistently. It can't happen now tho, he's immovable unless the jays eat a huge portion of the salary.
