  1. Jameson Taillon, ahem
  2. Juan Soto continues to make a mockery of A ball at 19. 4 PA, a triple, 2 BBs, SB The pitchers probably starting to give him nothing to hit
  3. Anthony Rizzo has a 0.107 batting average, 1 home run, 2 RBI. Does he suck too?
  4. Holy s***! Well, I'm not surprised.
  5. BTS been quieter since his elevation to mod. In training?
  6. dropped Kintzler, have at him
  7. OK whatever. "HATE" Stroman then
  8. Possibly some hate Sanchez because he is associated with Thor, who was traded away for an innings eater? Actually didnt the Mets want Sanchez and Jays said no and offered up Thor instead?
  9. I recall Gurriel had a strong start in AA last year also, 5 for 12 in 1st three games, 4 of them doubles I'm still pessimistic about the guy being anything more than a benchwarmer
  10. Sanchez has a history of having games with poor stuff and coming up with a QS. Of course the outcome depends on the quality of the opponent also, and the O's suck balls.
  11. Two short reports on D: On defense, Soto looks comfortable roaming the outfield. He is quick but not especially fast, typically taking consistent and efficient routes to fly balls. He has a solid arm, but not a prototypical right-field arm, and could end up in left as he climbs the ladder. Defensively is not where Soto makes his name as a prospect, as his average speed and athleticism, along with fringe-average arm, allows him to play a reasonable but unexceptional right field. As he matures and receives additional game experience, I could envision his arm getting to average, as well as his overall defense in right field. However, if he loses much speed or range as he ages, he could profile better long-term in left field, where he would project as average or slightly better.
  12. So he's basically comparable to Vlad at the plate, anyone see reports on his OF D?
  13. Ya i was at clearwater 3 years ago.... great beach, water gets a little deep fairly quickly so was not ideal for my then 4 year old
  14. isn't there also an island park off the coast just north of Clearwater accessible only by boat with amazing beach? Looked it up.. Caladesi state park.... have u been
  15. I deleted the post, doesnt make sense on reflection that a 96 to 92 MPH drop on the fastball will avoid blisters. Probably just an attempt to find better command
  16. whats your investment return on the house at this time
  17. Bichette can play an average to passable SS and I expect average to above average 2B. I'd like to see him get some reps in the OF, he has speed and a decent arm. A guy that can hit like Bichette and play multiple positions is extremely valuable
  18. It is. IMO, no one employed should be living in poverty, meaning the poverty class should be consistent with the unemployment rate.
  19. The household debt issue is not necessarily an economic issue, but more of an easy credit and living beyond means issue. A capitalist economy will always have the poverty class.
  20. Corbin lights out tonight 7K thru 3, 1 hit
  21. Nats sure know how to pick dem.
  22. He just added a double.
  23. LOL I'll never understand the hate for Sanchez The guy has dynamite stuff and is a BLUE JAY
  24. Swanson does well against Strasburg, continues the good start
