He has 4849 PA for his career. The results for 114 PA for this year so far should be given little weight. His career wRC+ is 118, I would use that as his "true talent level". With the big contract maybe it drops to 110 or so from Manny playing below his talent level.

Suggested in the offseason that Pearson follow an opener. Bring him in against the other team's weaker hitters. A little easier on the nerves. His lack of command is most likely that, nerves.

Pearson speeds up his delivery when he throws the fastball. It's pretty obvious.

Could be mechanical in the sense he is tipping his pitches. The hitters seem to know what's coming.

I thought Vlad was getting squeezed pretty good by the umps last season. Messed up his approach, started swinging more at pitches out of the zone, more grounders. He'll figure it out, but he would be a prime beneficiary of roboumps, IMO.

It's very bad behavior. Right up there with banging trash cans. 7 run lead, no swinging for the fences unless it's a pitcher's count.

The Pujols situation is weird. Got to wonder if there is something in the contract that incentivizes LAA to keep him on the team/field.

Yu Darvish starts tomorrow and for a nice offer of a top prospect and/or high pick (or pick upgrade) he can be yours ahead of the game. It's a 2 start week for the former Blue Jay. He will be moved, regardless, before the deadline but ideally for your team and playoff prospects, now is the time to get him.

You will be able to carry red flags up to the limit (limit may vary by league, but generally 5). You will be able to do adds/drops of players with MLB experience throughout the offseason. For example, you may want to add a guy coming back from the Nippon League. Any cuts would be in advance of and during the NPD as you decide whether to cut bait on some prospect you own or end of roster guy in order to add an available prospect.
