    I posted earlier that there should be consequences if a team has an outbreak like the Marlins and Cards. There has to be good reason for teams and the players to take responsibility and follow the protocols. Since putting the life/health of your teammates and team staff at risk doesn't seem to be sufficient.

    You didn't trade your 1st rounder (#19) to Connor? Just to clear up any confusion, the pick numbers are not in sequence this year. Pick 21 was added in as compensation as part of the deal to merge the two Ohtani. So if you haven't made trades, you have 1st round pick 15 and 2nd round pick 36, for example.

    The draft usually causes an uptick in pick moves, including for the next year's draft. To reduce the uncertainty over how the 2021 pick order will be determined, here is the approach: - standings for the purpose of pick order will be based on a weighted average of 2019 and 2020 win% - the weighting of 2019 and 2020 win% will be anywhere between 70/30 and 50/50, depending on how this season progresses - the draft order for the bottom 5 win% will be by weighted lottery as per usual

    This is a common misconception. Ruth was a fantastic athlete for most of his career. Most pictures and video are for his last few playing years when he was bloated from living large.

    He's 23. Has struggled at every level initially before busting out. I'd keep him, if I didn't have a loaded roster.

    Not enough reason yet to suspend the season. The Marlins should be punished by forfeiting all of the suspended games (win for other team), but solely for the purpose of the 2021 draft order, the games forfeited also count as a Marlins win. Let that be a lesson to every other team.

    From earlier: A summary of what's going to happen in the next few weeks that I'll also e-mail to everyone: 1. We're going with our regular league format in a condensed form: 6 weeks of regular season and 3 weeks of playoffs for the 4 division winners and 4 WC teams. 2. The schedule is complete and finalized in Fantrax. Everyone plays every team in their division and 2 teams in another division. The cross division matchups are 3 Idiots vs. Division 2 and Division 4 vs. Maybe Next Year. 3. Our MilB draft will begin on August 2nd at 9 am with 12-hour windows. You can make cuts during the draft if you want, but players cut after the draft begins won't be draft eligible. 4.
