The Scoop: The Louisville alum has been on fire in the desert. Britton’s nine hits pushed him into the AFL lead in batting average and on-base percentage, with marks of .500 and .553. The 24-year-old didn’t hit for a high average during the regular season, which he split between High-A and Double-A, but he showed strong on-base skills, including a walk rate of 16.9% between the levels.
