  1. Wow, right on the black Lot of respect for Walker though, he was pitched carefully
  2. Biggest issue at this point is who gets to start the GDT tomorrow. It's a big deal, could make or break the season.
  3. Got to go with Berrios. ST results shouldn't be a factor here. Berrios was likely working on some things.
  4. The draft was good, I don't recall any absent owners. Interest will fluctuate.... building a good team and then seeing it fall back into the pack is frustrating, but I for one have more interest when I'm rebuilding then when I'm trying to sustain a good team winning.
  5. Never been a league with every owner engaged.
  6. Ya you would keep him.... some team will pick him up. Should be Oakland lol
  7. I don't think there's been a player auction since Berrios this time last year. When a league is a true dynasty like this one, I think a lot of owners are fine with sitting back and waiting for prospects to develop. A keeper league does force more owner activity.
  8. Nothing wrong with a good ol' auction or two to shake things up
  9. Pearson will be if he can stay healthy. No one in the Jays bullpen comes close to the quality of Pearson's arsenal.
  10. Trust the Jays FO. My thinking is they feel Pearson needs some more reps at a lower level, after hardly pitching the last few years, before the MLB pressure cooker. Everyone is aware of the stuff, but between the ears is just as, or more important. When they think he's had enough reps, he'll be up.
  11. I hightailed it home from London, whizzing past traffic, thinking the draft was 5 pm...... why does f***ing Yahoo show times in PDT
  12. He's also no better than average defensively and is seen as a LF. So his bat will need to continue to be hot and carry him to MLB. A tougher climb than a guy that hits and has high defensive value
  13. Pearson continues to dominate in AAA, he will be up soon.
  14. I missed my 1st pick, system gave me J-Rod. C-pee missed about half his draft. I have a new puppy, busy as f*** these days.
  15. I know this, c-pee Congrats by the way, and hey, since we are buddies, can you get me a deal on the beachside resort you at.
  16. Archer? wtf Dylan Bundy is a free agent. Bundy >> Archer. edit - uhhh.... I just looked up Bundy's numbers, the above is dumn.
  17. Kyle Isbel, another former Top 100 prospect, has a 1.063 OPS through 13 ST games. I have both Isbel and Greene on my LOD team, and I'm excited.
  18. Injury fill-in is all he is I doubt he's the 26th man
  19. For someone who claims to have recovered from mental illness, you sure do your best to further the stigma
  20. Agreed but my point remains
  21. Interesting lineup..... with this team construction I don't think we will see the same lineup twice in any 2 week period.
  22. No one has ever suggested that breaking up the barrio was the sole reason. Basically we all have the opinion that breaking up the barrio was or probably was a secondary consideration.
  23. I can easily see Pearson becoming a better version of Stripling. Not this year tho, exclusively relieving this year to manage innings.
  24. Not acceptable in the derogatory context it is used on BJMB ie. someone is mentally deficient
