    I, and most here, have a different opinion. You are entitled to your opinion, but you aren't going to get much agreement unless you back it up with facts and stats.

    Lived in North Bay for 16 yrs, that's nothing unusual at all. Heck there is likely 1 or 2 more coming to northern Ontario.

    People would lose interest after the 11th or 12th inning, and start emptying out of the stadium and switching the channel. Plus would kill the pitchers. Some will disagree, but the ghost runner has to do with improving the product for the average fan, and possibly to reduce the risk of player injury, particularly pitchers. With the rule changes I'd like to see the ghost runner at 1B, and bring steals, hit and run, bunts (!?*) more into play

    Police and security generally use too much force. We see it again and again. It's why people with mental disabilities are disproportionately injured and killed in police encounters, in circumstances where they pose no harm to others. "Shoot first, ask questions later"
