  1. You chuck Lauer long before Berrios.
  2. Yesterday the Cardinals signed Blewett. Today they traded for Dick Fitts. Cards got stuff going on!
  3. Bo has already left. Jays may or may not be his preferred landing spot.
  4. Dead cat bounces happen once only.
  5. The one bat cannot be Belly?
  6. I was a young man when Belly won MVP. Have you looked at the more recent numbers?
  7. Unfair to compare anyone to Witt Jr. He looks like a generational talent. Halladay acquitted himself alright for his 1st full season. Projections have him at 108 wRC+ for 2026. At peak who knows where he will be. FG gives him a 60 FV game power.
  8. Yep, unprincipled
  9. Good luck with that lol
  10. 1The Red Sox are doing a good job building from the farm. Of course they could be this year's O's. And the O's could win 100 games. That's baseball.
  11. And 6 of the last 9 Dodgers 1st round picks were exposed in the Rule 5 draft. The Dodgers are getting it done by player development and excellence in international scouting.
  12. Yep. I traded for Holliday for next to nothing in one of my leagues lol Laika is very quick to write players off
  13. Yes, he's gonna have to re-invent himself into a Hendricks type. Some team will bet on average performance.
  14. Cowser was on and off the IL all year. Played hurt. He was hurt on the first game of the season and never fully recovered
  15. You posted earlier that he was below average, hence my response. BA projects him to get 2/45. A reasonable gamble to reject the QO. Some team will bet on a rebound.
  16. Pro tip - the Jays are in on everyone.
  17. Ward projected for $13M to $14M for 2026. Without Ward, Angels have about $114M committed. I think the Angels have entered the Tucker sweepstakes. With Tucker, its a strong lineup, and if Klassen can maintain his 2025 control improvements, pitching could be alright. 2026 final year of the Rendon albatross ($38.5M lol)
  18. Actually his xFIP- was 89 in 2024 (11% better than average) and 99 in 2025 (~average).
  19. It's true. Prove me wrong.
  20. With Spanky, every accusation is a confession
  21. We've been down this path before
  22. Good on ya, admitting defeat
  23. Yes it is, comparatively
  24. Tucker is definitely a better fit than Bichette
