Good stuff. Totally agree on the young pitching. I just hope AA doesn't give it up for some rental or older pitcher. Another 6-4 stretch soon and they'd again be close to 10 games over .500. Let's hope it starts soon so they can go into the AS break with some momentum.

Not much to choose from with Lind being only able to play 1B. I do think Gibbons likes Navarro too much despite his inferior defense, but I could be wrong. -

This team is back to April-mode, doing just enough to lose. I thought stranding Rasmus at 3b after he led off with a 2b was big, but you they're simply doing enough to lose every game. Cincinnati won't be easier with the pitching match-ups.

I'd love to see a video montage of some of the low and low and away strike calls by this guy. He even called a couple of clear strikes balls for the Jays. He was horrible, but let's face it, this offense has only scored as many as 5 runs twice in their last 11 games. They're wasting possible wins with their putrid offense. Cabrera has sucked for over a month now, good thing they didn't throw money at him like some suggested at the time.

When I saw the 1st strike called against Bautista in the 1st, I figured they'd have no chance to hit Tanaka since you have to make him get the ball up.

He gave him the pitch just off the outside corner to LHB, but then he stopped giving it to him. Anyway....just another loss at Yankee stadium.

For the series. I'd be happy with taking 1 of the next 2. We'll see, but let's face it, this offense has averaged 2 runs per game for the last 11 games minus 1 inning.

Oh it's coming. He struck out on Dickey as an Ace so now that the team is where it is, they'll throw more resources at the starting rotation, you can bet on it.

So this will be the 10th loss in a row at Yankee stadium? You would think this team would have a chance to break it up, but it ain't looking good the way this team is not hitting.
