    Yea I dont know how many of you guys read the game thread, but not going the other way seems to be reason why this team isnt that great offensively. I remember something about people responding much better to more frequent rewards ( i.e hits) than one larger( i.e homer) even when the greater reward was still more than all the smaller rewards added up in one of my pysch courses. Which makes sense I suppose when you think about it, the general pop. are all about instant gratification.

    Escobar is one the worst hitters in all of baseball, his teamates carrying him doesnt change that. Escobar getting hot in a series is so irrelevant to this discussion. The royals are 17-7 in the postseason the past 2 years, Ned Yost is just there. That being said there's about 20 managers in all of baseball I would fire in a heartbeat, it's not just Yost that has zero idea whats going on
