  1. So it probably comes down to whichever one of Lacy and Hancock are remaining at #5, and Veen.
  2. Just like you did in our regular season matchup? Oh, wait.
  3. I think we should take the dub.
  4. RE: Kiley. Like I said...

  6. Earlier today, Laika wrote about the effects of potentially lost service time: https://www.radioscouts.com/lost-season-service-time-for-the-blue-jays/
  7. I get that these are unprecedented and extenuating circumstances, but the MLB takes two steps forward with a reported minor league pay increase and a willingness to compensate minor leaguers and employees for current lost wages, and then before the ink is even dry on either of those things, absolutely and unnecessarily f***s over hundreds of college kids in one fell swoop in typical Rob Manfred PA disaster form. Sometimes it's a challenge to remain a fan of this f***show.
  8. Can confirm he is still alive, so we don't need to roll out the RIP JFL thread at this stage.
  9. The NCAA and high school seasons are done, though, so these discussions are probably more relevant at this time this year than in years past. I'd normally agree with you that it's pretty much a fruitless endeavour to put too much into the rankings when they're so fluid due to games still being played, but that's no longer the case this season and what we know to this point is all the data we'll get. The only things that are likely to influence changes to the draft lists going forward are a change in industry consensus, team preference rumours, and injuries.
  10. We still want to release that? I didn't think anyone even cared about baseball right now.

  12. Is this something that us gambling degens can bet on, errrr...?

Does this mean I win my office pool?
  15. There's a million dollar idea - Nutflix.
  16. Just post your pick here and then add your guy when you're home.
  17. Surprisingly, we're #1 at BlueJaysAggr in listens per podcast episode and views per blog post in the past 30 days. Pretty much the only thing we'd need is a few more articles being churned out at this point, but I'd rather see quality over quantity myself. If we were publishing one solid article per day, I think we could probably turn our views from hundreds per post into thousands.
  18. The Orioles have signed Danny Barnes to a minor league deal. They are truly enamored with our refuse.
  19. Prospect Special #4: Blue Jays Farm Outlook, Pearson, Vlad, Woods Richardson, Kay, Hatch https://bit.ly/334plPF
  20. Laika wrote about Puig here: https://bit.ly/3cDm1PG
  21. It's hard to say at this very moment whether or not Hatch could remain a starter in the long term, but there were only three starters in MLB last season that had a higher RPM on his fastball than the FG-reported 2550 RPM on Hatch's fastball: Mike Minor (2650), Justin Verlander, (2577), and Jeff Samardzija (2559). Yu Darvish (2533), Gerrit Cole (2529), and Andrew Heaney (2524) are the only other starters above 2500 RPM. FWIW. Edit: Also of note, Elite SP/RP John Gant had 2515 RPM on his fastball.
  22. Maybe a 0.1% chance? You'd basically need to sweep every category against the almost-first place overall team and Vladimir Poutine would have to lose 10-1-1 or worse. And the two guys between your two teams would probably need to lose this week as well. Sorry.
  23. Just to add to this a bit, that spin rate on his fastball is elite. 2550 RPM at his velocity (92-94, T96) is some upper tier fastball s***.
