  4. We should be grateful he chose baseball over t-rexing
  5. Hope you're having a celebratory double somewhere tonight, BTS!
  6. I have a group of buddies that started an annual golf trip last year. So far we've only done Medicine Hat (returning this year as well), but the golfing there is pretty good and also inexpensive, so it's a win-win. There have been discussions of going elsewhere in future years. We were going to explore that this year, but things got upended slightly because one of the organizers is having a baby in a couple weeks, so the plan is to go somewhere close to home. Maybe Invermere next year.
  7. Yeah, his ball striking has been historically good over the past year and a half or so. Like, better than Tiger's, even. Luckily he typically can't putt well or golf would be no fun to watch.
  8. Board time hasn't moved forward an hour. Edit: thank you.
  9. Sounds like Scotty is pouring himself a tall one.

I don't understand how you hold the best asset on the market and don't get at least one premium asset in return. Also, why hang on to Neds? They couldn't have gotten at least a 2nd for him? I'm blown away by these decisions.

The f*** was that return for Guentzel, by the way? So terrible.
  12. Nah, it's cheeks.
  13. In case anyone missed Vogelbach's unadulterated piss missile from earlier.

Mogilny also scored 76 in 77 games in 92-93, the same year Selanne scored 76 in 84 games (.904 GPG). Mario scored 69 in 60 that year, missing a quarter of the season for Hodgkins and still won the scoring race with 160 points in 60 games. Insane.
  15. Is this game worth going back and watching tonight or nah? Missed it earlier.
  16. Looking pretty svelte and streamlined right here.
  17. It was a pretty eyeroll-inducing joke, but I don't quite know about embarrassing for MLB.

They were definitely talented offensively, but good all-around depth and Murray playing like a then-franchise goalie really helped their cause.
  19. Tiger WD due to illness, supposedly. No, no, it couldn't be the spasming back.
  20. Incredible last year or so for Nick Taylor, wow. He gets it done in the second playoff hole. Just...amazing television.
  21. If you aren't watching the golf right now, you're dumn. The Super Bowl sucks so far anyway. We have a playoff between Canadian Nick Taylor and from-out-of-nowhere-way-past-his-prime-but-was-apparently-dealing-with-injuries-the-last-few-seasons Charley Hoffman. Let's gooooooo! Edit: Wow. Clutch putting from Nick on 18 and then the first playoff hole. Playoff hole #2 coming right up.
  22. Of course Scottie has risen. Taylor hanging after a sloppy start. This is starting to feel like last year, but hopefully Taylor can turn the tables and get the best of Scheffler this time. Edit: didn't actually think Hoffman would last, but he's currently leading outright
  23. That's a wrap for today's action. There's a frost delay risk in the morning, so it looks like we'll be finishing off around halftime tomorrow night. Not ideal. Anyway, looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings. She's a tight leaderboard.
  24. Taylor back on top
  25. Alright, round 3 in full swing now. Let's f***ing goooooo Looking for a win from Taylor, Spieth, JT, or Hideki.
