  1. Can we please get the Springer deal pushed through so I can make my subsequent roster moves? Thanks in advance.
  2. This one surprises me: Anderson made the rotation over Montgomery.
  3. It makes me very happy in my heart to see that the majority of you seem to favour the return I got for Seager, but this actually shocks me bigly. Seager is by far the best player in the deal, and I essentially got a slew of rando lottery tickets in return. If one or two of them pan out (I'm looking at you, A.J. Reed!), then I could hit the jackpot, but the most likely outcome of this trade is a not so insignifi**** win for Dinger here.
  4. Ryon Healy, Drew Pomeranz and A.J. Reed for Kyle Seager.
  5. Stroman = MVP!
  6. Ben Sheets was so good. It's a shame about the injuries that derailed his career.
  7. Welp... Great performance by Stroman!
  8. My feelings exactly. Wasn't even deep.
  9. Excellent, Berrios is in. This will be a good time to evaluate him for fantasy porpoises. Edit: f*** ME!
  10. I know "clutch" is probably not a real thing, but Stroman seemingly really elevates his game at the biggest moments.
  11. Freudian slip?
  12. He's got three different fastballs (sinker, four-seamer, and cutter) with the same release point, but all behave wildly differently. That has to be so hard for most hitters to square up. Here's the linky-poo: http://toronto.locals.baseballprospectus.com/2016/12/15/why-marcus-stroman-is-primed-to-take-a-big-step-forward-in-2017/
  13. Lol. I think Reynaldo is going to be a good one, though.
  14. Yes, f***ing please!
  15. I'm putting a lot of stock into Meadows, but I think everyone knows by now how much I love that kid.
  16. For sure. The prior almost-1000 games played in the majors of slightly above replacement level play are now rendered completely inconsequential thanks to this year's WBC!
  17. This is a pretty interesting article that debates the usefulness of the hit tool grade in prospect evaluation: http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/minors-to-the-majors-hit-tool-grade-usefulness/ BA gave Oscar Taveras a 75 hit tool grade in 2014. Holy hell! I had totally forgotten about that.
  18. You definitely did leave a pretty good core behind. Thanks! Yeah, seriously, the site is pretty bad. They're making "improvements" to the interface, but I still like the Yahoo design way more, man.

  20. Your old Mets team is looking good for this season, if you are at all curious.
  21. I'm hopeful for a 2080 top prospects list release this week. Last year, they released it March 24th. I tweeted at them yesterday for an ETA but was merely told they'd update as details become available.
  22. Non-DDL bro here, but I echo what NJH said.

Possibly, but it was the element of surprise. Nobody expected that shot.

He's on a goddamn mission to win the Rocket, Art Ross and Hart. Pretty incredible goal!
