    He's a prospect until he's exhausted rookie eligibility. The fact that he's being given the reins to an everyday major league catching job speaks volumes to his skillset, prospect pedigree, and the confidence the org has in his abilities. If anything, this role confirms his elite prospect status. I can assure you that Jansen is eligible to win ROTY this season. Why are you trying to cheapen such a wonderful thing?
