I don't remember when the article was written, but I remember Fangraphs finding that teams that sweep tend to lose in the next round against less rested teams (or something of that nature). -

I definitely think if there is a sport that needs to reform (and simplify) its rules, it's the NHL. The NFL is pretty stupid, too, but I don't think it compares to the NHL's weirdness.

Here's a good article from Fangraphs/THT on teams outperforming their projections since 2015 (both hitting via wOBA and pitching via SIERA). Surprise: The Astros outperformed them all! Actual Surprise: Jays rank 3rd in outperforming their projections.

I would love the team to get Rendon, but I don't think it's happening given where the Jays are in the rebuild. Also, I would like the team to get a FA SP, but not sure whether any of the players would sign here.
