Still a chance to increase his net worth by probably close to 50%. $15-20M for four years when you've only made $44.4M is still no joke. He must be really unhappy playing ball.

It's amazing to me that he's willing to turn down so much money when his window to earn it is so limited. At 31 and still playing pretty well, there's probably another 15-20M out there for him if he grinds away for 4 more years. I don't begrudge him the fact that he's leaving, but he must really be unhappy to walk away from 20M given that his earning potential evaporates in about 5 years.

JP Crawford is on a bit of a power binge since coming back from injury. 273/378/584 with 5 homers and a 163 wRC+ over 90 PA. I wonder if gets himself to a 100-110 wRC+ for the year and pops 12-15 homers, if that brings back some prospect shine. That's really not bad for 22 at AAA. Of course, he has to stay reasonably hot for that to happen.

Nobody has really put any thought into that aspect for BORED though. That was copied over from the DDL rules. If most of the league wants to start it the Monday of the AS break, or the day after the signing deadline, or the day the draft is finished, or whatever, we should be open to changing it and doing what the majority wants. I think a league poll is probably the best way to handle it than following what's in the DDL rules just because.
