Because Italians have this never ending need to feel superior to other cultures. Plus Italian restaurants in my experiences usually suck. Except Ricci's in Woodabridge, they've got damn delicious food.

I don't know if there is an actual measurement, but Jose Guillen's throw in Colorado looked like a farther distance, and like Laureano's, it was on the money. But still, it was Coors and that throw took a major arc, where as Laureano's didn't. -

Quite possibly, he's got an x370 wOBA, with plus fielding and running. Hits the ball reasonably hard, and walks at a decent clip.

It's kind of like when Donaldson won the award over Trout. Trout's WAR was higher, but less than 0.5 so the difference was basically negligible. Looks like this will be the case with Trout and Betts this year. Also, Tampa Bay looks like they're gonna win 90 games this year and are likely to miss the playoffs. Crazy. Good for them though, they went with an unorthodox approach to start the game with bullpen guys, and are 3rd best in the league with 578 runs given up. I've heard announcers s*** on their strategy all season, but the numbers speak for themselves.
