I agree, they have some dynamic fun guys, an elite bullpen and developed their team to contend properly.
They built up a deep farm, got some good players out of it, traded for and bought elite talent when they were ready to compete.
I can't say how good Ventura was of a manager because I don't watch a whole lot of White Sox games, but I think the losing record had to do with more of the s***** teams he had.

1) Tony Reagins had called AA wanting Wells, you're telling me Atkins would've refused to give Wells away when asked?
2) Have you heard AA speak? He was the definition of no substance.
The first two were him definitely being a petty bitch. But I'd argue has hasn't done anything close to that since then.
The second one was iffy. Still don't think he's a **** though.
