    Forget the 'IF's', this team has to win this series plain and simple. The season is literally hanging by a thread and things can start looking a lot better with a few series wins over the next few weeks.

    In terms of the division its going to be a tall task to say the least and probably unattainable at this point. If they can close the gap to 5 games over the next month, then everything changes. As for the playoffs, they are certainly not out of the wildcard race. If they get to .500 by the all star break, a small run could get them in. That being said, lets see how they do over the next few weeks. If they don't get closer to .500 then they are probably finished.

    I agree. It's a shame we couldn't get a few adequate mods at the old forum. It was a simple fix, yet it really seemed like it was a free for all.

    I agree for the most part, but I don't think a win streak is necessary. A strong stretch would be just as good. 10 out of 15 games, or something along those lines can really get things headed in the right direction.

    Yup. If everyone knows that the mods are active, why would they risk getting banned? I think the instances will be rare. Much of the trolling on the old forum was a result of a poor environment caused by inadequate moderation.

    If people just start getting banned for things they did on another forum then this no longer becomes a public forum and rather it becomes an exclusive club. I don't think anyone want's that, I know I don't. I just think if people start spamming or personally attacking posters, etc, then the mods need to step in and take appropriate action, which in most cases should be a warning. Banning should be a last resort.

    That's just it. It's a new forum and we are all new members. Can't just ban people for doing no wrong on this forum.

    Probably why you don't care. That being said, I had over 8000 and I couldn't care less about them. It's nice to just start fresh with a new forum. This forum should stand on its own and not cling to post counts from a place we all agreed turned into a dumpster.
