And it still makes a lot of sense for us to keep him. I'm kind of worried that we resign EE, offer Jose the QO and he accepts. Financially that's not bad but then we haven't really gotten better as a team if that happens.
What do you think Gibbons job actually is? He's not there to teach baseball just manage the guys he has, I would say he is doing fine since our only strategy is 1 base at time and hope for the long ball.
Shipiro did an interview a couple weeks ago saying he's looking forward to working with Gibby for a long time.
Maybe this series changes that but I doubt it, he's certainly not the reason they've scored 3 runs in 27IP.
