  1. Our window is not closed we just need to retool a bit of the roster. We are most likely going to finish the year around .500, with almost everyone having a down year and an awful showing from our starters. 3B- Donaldson SS- Tulo 2B - Travis 1B - Smoak RF - Alford? LF - ? CF - Pillar C- Martin DH - Morales/Pearce 1. Stroman 2. Sanchez 3. Happ 4. Biagini 5. Estrada? 2018 the pipeline is re-established and we'll guys who could contribute that actually have long term potential, both position players and SP.
  2. Bautista - RHP Big arm, no control in A+ Callahan - RHP Big Arm struggled with control will be a reliever probably going to get called up this year or next. Nogosek - RHP Is probably the best piece and has a good 3 pitch mix to be a starter but I think the sox have him as a reliever It's a great trade for the Mets.
  3. It's Jamie Callahan, Gerson Bautista, and Stephen Nogosek to the Mets in the agreement for Addison Reed.
  4. The Mets are getting three minor-leaguers from Boston in return for Addison Reed. So definitely need to trade Joe Smith.
  5. Dream scenario today is Kendry Morales is traded. He's been producing lately but he just doesn't fit this team we need to have flexibility at the DH with all these old, slow or bad defenders. Not really too concerned with Estrada or Liriano, best case scenario there is we get a lottery ticket prospect.
  6. Paying Reyes $41 Million to play for someone else is not insignificant.
  7. Holy crap I forgot how awful that contract was, they will be paying Pujols until he is 41. $30 Million for the 4 more years remaining on his deal.
  8. ok not killing it but a respectable 122 wRC+ in July. No reason we can't get a decent look at him this season.
  9. DSJ is killing it in AAA, time to give him legit look in a lost season.
  10. How does Lourdes contract work? Does he have options or once he comes up he is here to stay?
  11. Because he sucks.
  12. Seriously though, why has Tabler been retained for so long. We had multiple people come and go off the radio broadcast that are way better than Tabler yet for 20 years Tabler has remained. The broadcast is 100 times better when he is not on it.
  13. Wow what a great deal for the White Sox.
  14. LOL that s*** is funny.
  15. He's a dude, if it wasn't for TJS and the shoulder injury he dealt with he would probably be ahead of the curve. It's not like he's that old just turned 23 a couple months ago and now getting a taste of AA. . I'd wager he contributes more to this organisation than Connor Greene ever does.
  16. Ryan Borucki should be in that top 10.
  17. The team can easily be competitive next year.
  18. I just can't see us dealing Happ our rotation is so trash as is and without Happ all we have is Stroman, goes against what Atkins said yesterday about wanting to remain competitive and "relevant". That being said they have a number of very interesting arms I want.
  19. Bo getting drilled on the hand last night. https://streamable.com/t6pg3 http://i.imgur.com/cFmvMXE.jpg
  20. He's underperformed this season and clearly suffering an injury, I can't see the front office selling low on him.
  21. It's probably just to get Pentecost into AA and move some other guys up.
  22. Yea selling on Stroman, Sanchez and Osuna is dumb. I was thinking they would get a good haul for Happ but with the state of the rotation I don't think you can trade him.
  23. TIL Zeke has plus speed.
