    All in all I gotta say I'm impressed with Manfred. I don't agree with everything but atleast he is trying to change the game for the best. If there are going to be some sort of changes with umps and their calls it will be coming soon I would assume.

    Well assuming Bautista is all about getting the biggest contract possible like Brownie(?) mentioned it would be in his best interest to except a trade. It'll get rid of the qualifying offer. But that's assuming he doesn't care about winning.

    Fair enough. I was just thinking the offence has been hot wouldn't be so bad to give him a couple extra games down there to make sure we get the good Bautista back. But at the same time I thought that about Tulo when they called him up and well he's killed it

    Some people would get banned for posts like this and some people wouldn't. Mods/board are ass backwards. Some people are aloud to swear and call other posters names and some people aren't. Hell some people legit get banned for doing nothing wrong around here.

    I'm pretty sure I wasn't that big of an ass as you seem to think. I was just stating that you should stop throwing garbage out there and make a decent trade proposal for once. As for what it would take I don't know and don't care. The only player you mentioned was Cargo that I would want but that's depending on what the Jays plan is in the offseason. If Bautista and EE walk than I would say don't go for Cargo but if you're bringing one of them back than do. But at the same time the Jays will never be able to afford that(they can just don't want to understandably)

    His first trade to Colorado was a pretty good start and I started to believe that he got over that hump that no one wants are garbage than he came out with his second trade offer. BBBB you got to remember when you make a trade proposal the other team will be doing it for a reason to(most of the time). They don't want Tepera? Cola? Goins? If their rebuilding their going to want actual good prospects.. Or young GOOD players.

    In the case of the Bautista situation I think a lot of people are underestimating how smart Bautista is. If he can come back and hit like a crazy that alone will get him the money he wants. Teams already know that he is capable of playing the OF, if you throw him at 1B I can only see that helping his value. You'd have a backup 1B, 3B, OF and is one of the best hitters in the game. EDIT: The Jays could easily say when Bautista comes back that they want him to play 1B to get him off the turf to help his toe get to 100% or some sorta BS like that.

    I do agree that they shouldn't do it but some people in this thread are overreacting. While sending Ortiz a letter is pretty dumb it's pointless to fine them cause they don't really care about $5000. He said what he said not much else you can do.
